Bakti Desa
Hai Guys! Back again with me, Zidan. Now, I want to tell you about one of my school activities, it called Bakdes.
One of joyful experience!
Bakdes or Bakti desa is an activity where students of Bandung 3 High School are sent to a village in West Java to conduct a kind of social activity there. This year, we carried out bakdes activities in the village of Cibeureum, West Java.
There, we were placed in the homes of local residents with different economic backgrounds. Some work as farmers, gardeners, government employees, and so on. During the 3 days and 2 nights there, there were many activities that we did to help the villagers, such as participating in farming, conducting health counseling, and some even participated in building village mosques. This village has a natural beauty that is so charming, from the cool start of the air due to the shade of trees and green fields, near this village there is a 0 point of the citarum river. The residents here were very friendly and enthusiastic to welcome us, many of the activities we carried out with small children there, from starting to recite together to distributing basic necessities together. The essence of our activity there is to hold a social activity and feel how it feels to live as a villager.
